Minne
Located on Eteläesplanadi in central Helsinki, Minne Champagne Bar & Café sits within the historic Ahlström Building. The project transformed a former craft beer pub into a light, elegant and versatile space: a champagne and wine bar in the evening, and a café during the day.
The interior concept draws on the character and history of the Ahlström property. Inspired by the elegant Art Deco language of the Savoy Theatre, the design brings together expressive furniture forms, rich textiles and a carefully layered palette, balanced by the clean, understated lines of functionalism.

The furniture at Minne was manufactured locally in Finland, reinforcing the venue’s crafted and considered character.
As part of the scheme, Shaw also designed a selection of bespoke pieces made specifically for the space, creating an interior that feels distinctive and closely connected.
