Located slope-side at Levi West Point in Lapland, Bistro West was developed as a welcoming destination for skiers, visitors and resort guests from breakfast through to dinner. The venue brings together a bar, lounge area, restaurant and meeting room, creating a flexible space that can support relaxed daytime dining, après-ski moments and private gatherings.

Shaw was responsible for the layout planning, interior design, brand development and the design of all signage, menus, uniform accessories and promotional materials for the new restaurant.

The concept focuses on creating a warm, contemporary atmosphere that feels closely connected to its surroundings, with the architecture and interiors working together to frame the landscape and make the most of the year-round views across Levi. The design draws on the natural scenery of Lapland, balancing comfort, clarity and a strong sense of place. Materials, colours and graphic details were selected to feel calm and cohesive, helping Bistro West sit naturally within the mountain environment while giving the restaurant a distinct and memorable identity.
